The University of Alberta EcoCar Team would like to thank all of its partners for the support that they have provided for the first generation of our project. The support has been instrumental in the formation of our team and in getting us to our competition in Houston. Our team truly appreciates the corporate involvement in our project and we are delighted to be able to represent the University of Alberta and our corporate partners with our second place finish at the Shell Eco Marathon.

The funds provided have given us the opportunity to design and build our zero emission vehicle, compete in international competitions, to showcase our project in the local community and engage the public, and to learn about sustainable design. Thank you for this truly amazing opportunity. It is through this support that this project has been made possible.

Our team is currently in the design phase for our second generation vehicle. We are looking to compete in the 2013 World Solar Challenge in Australia on the world stage. There are still opportunities available for companies looking to get involved for this next generation of our project.
